What We Do
At RRS, we go beyond basic care — we create a therapeutic, structured, and family-oriented environment where healing and personal growth happen daily.
Who We Serve
Resilience Residential Services (RRS) provides care and support for youth ages 6 to 17 who have experienced emotional, behavioral, or traumatic challenges. Our residents often come to us facing difficulties such as:

-
Relationship and family conflicts
-
Depression or anxiety
-
Aggressive or oppositional behaviors
-
Academic or school-related struggles
-
Adjustment or attachment challenges
-
Attention deficit or hyperactivity disorders
-
Effects of sexual, emotional, or physical abuse
-
Trauma resulting from neglect, loss, or instability
All youth in our care are placed through the State of
Texas and our program operates in full compliance with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and State Minimum Standards for Residential Child-Care Licensing.

Environmental Stability
At Resilience Residential Services (RRS), we recognize that a child’s environment plays a vital role in their healing and development. That’s why we provide a home setting that is not only safe, but also clean, structured, and nurturing.

For many of our residents, this is the first time they’ve experienced a stable home environment where routines are consistent and care is genuine. This sense of order and belonging fosters emotional security, promotes self-respect, and helps youth take pride in their surroundings.

A calm, organized atmosphere allows our residents to focus on what matters most — their healing, personal growth, and academic success.
Intake Services
Upon placement with Resilience Residential Services (RRS), each youth receives a comprehensive intake assessment conducted by licensed professionals. During this process, we evaluate their emotional and behavioral needs, medical history, educational background, and any areas requiring additional support.

Following the assessment, an individualized treatment plan is developed to guide their care, outlining specific goals for healing, growth, and stability. Each resident participates in regular one-on-one counseling sessions as well as weekly group therapy to build coping strategies, emotional awareness, and positive social skills.

Our licensed staff also oversee all medical and medication needs to ensure each youth’s physical well-being. Every resident receives routine medical, dental, and mental health checkups to support their overall health and long-term success.
